You guys.. what is going on???
Limp Bizkit is joining the ranks of Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more as the newest addition to the Cash Money family. Frontman Fred Durst recently took to Twitter to confirm reports he and the band have been signed to the record label founded by current co-CEOs Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams. In a subsequent press release, Durst says Cash Money is “without a doubt” at the top of its game, adding that he was most attracted to their family atmosphere. On the label’s behalf, Birdman says they’ve always admired Limp Bizkit’s blend of rock and hip-hop and says they’re looking forward to the unique sound the band will bring to the label.
Meanwhile, fans shouldn’t have to wait long to hear the Cash Money version of Limp Bizkit. The band is reportedly working with Birdman at Miami’s famed Hit Factory studio on what would serve as the follow-up to last year’s “Gold Cobra.”
VH1 reports another exciting piece of news came as Lil Wayne also revealed that Ashanti might be joining the Cash Money family. Yep, so you won’t ever have to say things like, “What ever happened to Ashanti?” or, “I miss Ashanti” or, “What’s Luv?” ever again. We’d love to see the diva with some of her own new tracks and yep, in one of the roles we love her best for: super sweet r’n’b vocals featured as the chorus to rap songs about love

Thursday is honestly one of my favorite days of the week, because you know right after Thursday, Friday is here!
“I love Thursdays” theme night at the Funky Buddah in Chicago is one of my favorite places to celebrate the fact that the weekend is here!!
On one lovely Thursday Slim of the R&B group 112 stopped by to host the night and perform, and I got a chance to chill out with him. Slim is back on his solo mission.
After the success of his first solo single “So Fly” Slim has even more great music in store for the fans. Slim just dropped his newest mixtape entitled Cruisin’ the City Vol. 1, including a snippet of his new single that will be dropping this year entitled “Baby, Baby” featuring the late great Biggie Smalls.
During my sit down interview Slim let me in on a little secret ..there will never be another 112 album..ever again..man that hit me hard!! 112 was one of my favorite groups R&B groups of all time, at least they left us with several amazing songs like “Cupid”, “Peaches and Cream”, and “Only You”, not to mention their amazing albums. Slim is picking up right where 112 left off and he is definitely doing is thang!
Check out the video of Slim performing live at “I Love Thursdays” at The Funky Buddah. Also in the house was R&B singer/songwriter J-Lyn so you know I had to chop it up with her and see what she had in store for her fans in the new year. Also included are clips from her new video “Housemaid”. Check it out!

I know it sounds crazy but, XXL has revealed that the Colombian songstress has signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for management. Joining the likes of Rihanna, Wale, No I.D., Santigold, S1 and Melanie Fiona. "The news definitely marks a coup for Roc Nation. With worldwide appeal, Shakira has sold more than 60 million albums and won 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards." XXL I wonder if Beyonce had anything to do with this...

The Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries divorce is reportedly about to get extra messy, and Kris’s lawyer intends to put Kim and all her reality TV on trial so people can see who she really is. TMZ reports Kris and his lawyer, Lee Hutton, want to “expose the reality TV star” by proving Kim had no intention of staying married to him, but just wanted big ratings for her reality show. Chris Lawyer panes on proving their point by asking the judge to allow TMZ and TV stations to broadcast the trial something that the judge might find a tad hypocritical being that Chris was said to be sick of all the camera’s. Kim filed for divorce on grounds of “irreconcilable differences.” Kris also filed and said that he wants the marriage annulled(Like they were never married) based on fraud. Kris is said to have a couple of problems with the fraud claim. First of all, he’s the one who proposed. Second, the publicity has made him famous and marketable and he’ll make millions more than he would have otherwise. TMZ said… In Kim’s favor, TMZ learned that the prenup is extremely long and complicated accounting for what would happen years into the future. Why would she go through the time and trouble of having a long prenup if she planned on pulling the plug on the marriage within a few months? What do yall think? FreddyO.com
