6 Shot In Chicago Over 15-Minute Time Span [VIDEO]
The City of Chicago is still in the throes of a violent summer that has reached epic proportions, as six people were shot in a 15-minute time span, Monday (July 23). The two separate incidents left two people wounded in the Marquette Park neighborhood, and four others in Merrill Park.
Police reported that the Merill Park victims were standing in the park at approximately 10:18 p.m., when a minimum of two shooters –one holding a rifle, and the other a handgun—opened fire. Among those hit was 17-year-old Alixi Johnson who sustained a bullet wound to the neck. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and was declared dead at 11:01 a.m.
According to Johnson's family, the teen was a victim of a random attack. “He was a friendly guy,” said his grandmother, Forestine Randall. “He would go out of his way, above and beyond, to help someone. He wasn't no bad kid.”
Like many, Randall is fed up with the senseless violence. “I just wish that these kids would understand what they're doing and stop all this gangbanging, and shooting, and taking innocent people's lives.”
Another victim was a 34-year-old woman shot in the abdomen, and taken to John H. Stoger Hospital where she has been declared in “stable” condition. Two others, a 21-year-old man, and a 30-year-old woman were each shot in the leg, and hospitalized.
While the city as a whole continues to be plagued by gun violence, Johnson's death was the first fatality reported in his particular neighborhood in almost a year. Police recovered 50 bullet casings from the scene but have yet to apprehend any suspects.
Just 15-minutes earlier, a 13-year-old-boy and a 18-year-old man were both shot standing on a street corner. The boy, who was shot in the left thigh, was also taken to Christ Medical Center and told police that he was just standing around when he heard gunshots and felt pain. Meanwhile, the man was driven to Holy Cross Hospital, and was treated for a gunshot wound to the back and foot.
In total, at least 13 people were wounded in shootings around the city, starting at 8 p.m. Monday night.
Chicago continues to be crippled by gun violence. An earlier report revealed that murders in the city are up 38 percent from last year.

BREAKING - A Missing Person's Report Has Been Filed for Katherine Jackson
CNN says, Jackson's lawyer believed she had been traveling with Rebbie Jackson, her daughter. "I'm concerned that she's not safe," Sandra Ribera, the lawyer, said. Jackson is 82. Katherine's nephew said he has not spoken with his aunt in one week.
Earlier this week, Jermaine Jackson reportedly tweeted that Katherine was resting in Arizona on doctor's orders, according to TMZ.
However, Paris Jackson tweeted Sunday, "yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now." She asked for anyone who sees Katherine to call the authorities. Story developing..

17-Year-Old Girl From Texas Shot And Killed While Robbing A House!
"A Texas teen who was shot to death last month was a victim of her own crime: a robbery gone wrong. Claudia Hidic, 17, was shot dead near the back door of a man's home in Fort Worth on June 28, KCEN-TV reported. Her death was ruled a homicide. It was later found that she and two alleged accomplices -- Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley, both 21 -- were trying to rob a home with at least five occupants, the New York Daily News reported. Tacoma Teacher Charged With Having Sex With Her 12-Year-Old Student For Over 2 Years! (Boy, Now 17, Told After A Church Service.. Got Paid $80, Did It In The Classroom, Car, Bedroom, Etc)
"Prosecutors say Keshia T. Shaw raped a former student five times between April 8, 2007 and Dec. 31, 2008. Now 17, at the time the victim was 12-years-old, and a student in Shaw's sixth-grade class at Gray Middle School in Tacoma. Shaw was the student's science and math teacher, according to charging documents. Authorities say a friend of the victim's family contacted Child Protective Services on May 7, 2012 after the boy confided in them that Shaw had sex with him when she was his teacher. Police subsequently contacted the boy's mother, who verified that the boy had recently made similar statements to her after attending a church service. Charging documents say the boy told his mother that Shaw had performed oral sex on him and had sexual intercourse with him "three to four times when he was in sixth grade." On May 9 police interviewed the victim who added details to the allegations. The now 17-year-old told investigators that at the conclusion of his sixth grade year he retook an exam in Shaw's classroom. During the exam, the victim told authorities that Shaw sat directly in front of him, and that he noticed she wasn't wearing underwear under her dress. Charging documents state, "the defendant caught him looking at her and asked if he was turned on." From there, charging documents contend Shaw took the victim to a room between her classroom and the classroom next door, where she performed oral sex on the victim. After the oral sex, according to charging documents"
